The Benefits

Invisalign®

+

Virtually invisible

One of the main benefits of clear aligners is how they are virtually invisible when you wear them.

+

Comfort

Clear aligners are made of smooth, flexible plastic that fit snugly to your teeth. There are no rough brackets or sharp wires that cause pain.

+

Complex Cases

Invisalign can be used to correct extreme cases of misaligned teeth and bad bites.

Why choose Invisalign®?

Invisalign has revolutionised the orthodontic industry and we're proud to offer patients this service at Milngavie Orthodontics . Here are a few reasons to consider Invisalign®:

Virtually Invisible - the transparent aligners fit closely to the teeth and is almost undetectable, even close up.

Removable - unlike traditional braces, Invisalign® aligners can be removed which allows you to take them off for brushing and flossing your teeth.

Comfortable - Because Invisalign® aligners are smooth and fit closely to your teeth, they are much more comfortable than metal braces, and it is easy to forget that you are even wearing them.

Fewer follow-up visits - While you should still see your dentist at Milngavie Orthodontics for regular cleaning and check-ups, with less chance of complications, and fewer follow up visits for adjustments required, with Invisalign® you are likely to spend less time in the dentist’s chair.

Fixed Braces vs Invisalign?

We use both fixed braces and Invisalign at Milngavie Orthodontics as they are both effective tools for straightening teeth while also improving your smile and oral health.

In general, Invisalign is considered to be more effective for moderate crowding of the front teeth, while traditional braces are considered more effective for issues that are more severe.

This is a conversation that you will have with your orthodontist as they will use their experience to advise the best right solution for you.
